The Job

Reporting directly to the Senior Finance Manager, this Senior Finance Analyst will have full responsibility for providing timely and accurate financial analysis and operational recommendations to the ANZ leadership and management teams. In addition, they will work closely with the Senior Finance Manager in implementing standardised management reporting packs for the ANZ region. On a day to day basis, this Senior Finance Analyst will be responsible for the preparation of weekly and monthly management reports summarising operating results. From a corporate perspective your work will extend to assisting the senior management team in coordinating and preparing annual budgets, the 12-months rolling forecasts and strategic planning.

This is in essence a head office planning, forecasting and reporting role with a strong commercial analytical focus. Hence, your responsibilities will extend to the development and oversight of an accurate and effective customer pricing framework for ANZ; including development of consistent excel based pricing tools to assist management in making informed decisions on customer profitability and financial returns. Hence, the successful Senior Finance Analyst that will accept this role will have to have exceptional rapport building skills and display the ability to internally influence management decision making with their analytical capabilities.

Candidate Profile

You are CA/CPA qualified and are currently working as a Finance Analyst, FP&A Analyst, Management Accountant or Finance Business Partner ideally within a large and complex listed or multinational organisation. You have a solid ability to build and foster strong business relationships. Your personality is energetic and pro-active and you like to constructively challenge and improve processes. Technically, you have strong Excel skills and feel comfortable working in the banking/financial services environment.
